Hi, I’m Leah.

I’m an entrepreneur & non-profit leader.

I'm looking for a great business to run — one where I can step in as a hands-on leader, take care of your team, and build on what you've created.

Thinking about your business’s long-term future?

I know that selling your business is one of the biggest decisions you’ll ever make. Just as you’ve spent years building something meaningful, I’m looking to dedicate my career to ensuring your team and clients continue to thrive.

A little bit about me:

I’ve spent my career at the intersection of finance and mission-driven work. I previously worked at the investment management firm Dodge & Cox, where I worked in a number of operational and client service roles and ultimately built out the firm’s environmental, social, governance function. I hold an MBA from Stanford and a CFA charter. I also serve as Treasurer of the nonprofit League of Women Voters, where I oversee a $20+ million budget. I’ve managed organizations through challenging periods, including helping to hire a new CEO — so I know what it means to steward an organization that matters to people.

I’m supported by a team of experienced investors and entrepreneurs who provide both capital and guidance, but I’m the person you’d be working with day to day, through the transition and beyond.

I love building and leading teams.

Whether in corporate settings or nonprofits, my focus has always been on creating environments where people can thrive. I built out the new Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) team at an investment firm with $300+ billion in assets and managed staff and volunteers while serving as President of a small non-profit in San Francisco. I value empowering people to take ownership and working toward a common goal.

Community service has shaped my servant leadership style.

When I am not at work, you can usually find me volunteering. Leading teams of volunteers has taught me to lead through inspiration over authority. I currently spend my time serving as the Treasurer of the national League of Women Voters, overseeing a $20+ million dollar budget, as well as with the small business association and on a city planning committee for my neighborhood in San Francisco.

I’m drawn to hidden systems that keep our world running.

Throughout my career, I have worked to strengthen the backbone of critical services: from safeguarding election integrity with the League of Women Voters, to streamlining financial operations through automation, to ensuring the proper maintenance of public transit as part of the Bay Area Rapid Transit Bond Oversight Committee. My focus has always been on making these vital systems more effective and resilient.

Me with my grandmother, Wilma. She dedicated her life to helping others, and I have sought to follow her example.
